Rugged hull construction and design

Built entirely from premium, marine-grade 5086 aluminum alloy, the 3612LC2 is constructed around a high-performance V-bottom mono-planing hull designed to slice through heavy chops while carrying serious weight. 

The boat features an expansive 36' 4" (11 m) hull length (extending to a generous 38' 4"/11.6 m overall with its dual motor bracket) paired with a wide, stable 11' 10" (3,35 m) beam.

Scully's doesn't cut corners on structural integrity. The bottom is fabricated from ultra-tough 5/16” (1.5/4,9 m) aluminum, spanning a massive 10 feet (3 m) wide, while the side walls feature heavy-duty 1/4" (0.3/1.2 m) plating reaching 44 inches (1.1 m) in height. 

Under the deck, a network of 4" (1.2 m) flat bar keels, 3" (90 cm) T-bar hull bottom frames, two full-length vertical girders, and solid-welded lifting strakes form an unyielding backbone.

A self-bailing, double-bottom 3/16” (0.9/4.9 m) aluminum tread-plate deck, air-tested to 2 psi, ensures total peace of mind. 

To prevent structural damage during rough berthing, the entire perimeter is armored with a 4” (1.2 m) D-rubber bumper rub rail with coned aluminum ends, running alongside an integrated 4” x 2” (1.2 x 0.6 m) aluminum rub rail.

Unmatched cargo handling and layout

The central feature of the vessel is the immense 84” (2.13 m) clear-opening bow ramp door. This heavy, double-plated gate seamlessly deploys using a robust 12V DC 3,000 lbs capacity automatic brake winch, dual synthetic ropes and a heavy-duty pulley system. Framed perfectly by port and starboard bow lockers, the gasketed door clamps shut tightly via stainless steel toggle clamps for water-tight security when running.

For the operator, visibility is paramount. The boat was equipped with a heavy-duty 40" (1m) wide aluminum center console which featured an elevated helm position raised an extra 24 inches (60 cm), granting the captain a clear, unobstructed line of sight over stacked cargo or equipment.  

The helm is protected by a 1/4" (0.3/1.2 m) safety glass windshield and a spacious 83” x 48” (2.11 x 1.22 m )aluminum T-top hardtop. It also includes an integrated instrument box, a leaning post with dry storage, and multiple quick-acting, single-lever watertight hatches to access the spacious under-deck compartments.

Elite propulsion and precision handling

To optimize heavy cargo transport at planning speeds, the 3612LC2 is powered by Dual Yamaha 250 HP 4-stroke outboards mounted to a custom 32” (81 cm) extended transom bracket. 

The setup features one standard and one counter-rotating motor spinning high-performance three-blade stainless steel propellers, governed by Yamaha DEC electronic controls and digital multi-function tachometers.

Steering is smooth and effortless even under full load, thanks to a professional SeaStar Tournament Series hydraulic system outfitted with dual cylinders and a stainless steel tie bar. For perfect attitude adjustment and stability control on uneven water, the boat is equipped with Lectro Marine 12V aluminum trim tabs featuring responsive LED dashboard indicator switches.

Integrated commercial work tools and electronics

The 3612LC2 functions as a floating workspace. It comes equipped with a 400 lbs (181,4 kg) capacity aluminum pipe davit powered by a 12V winch, which can be easily swapped between port and starboard sockets. For stabilizing the vessel in shallow water or strong currents, a pair of 15-foot (4,57 m) anchoring spuds deploy via heavy-duty transom sockets. Dual solid rubber-bumpered push knees line the stern for pushing barges or assisting in maneuvers.

The technical specifications are completely ready for round-the-clock action:

• Power supply: Dual 1000 CA marine batteries paired with heavy-duty BlueSea switch panels and circuit fuses.
• Navigation: Top-tier Garmin 943xsv 9” (22.86 cm) high-resolution touchscreen chartplotter and depth sonar, alongside a Uniden VHF radio with an 8-foot (2.44m) antenna.
• Commercial lighting: Massive nighttime illumination via two remote-controlled ACR LED searchlights (460,000 CP each) and four 22" (55.88 cm) Optronic spot/flood light bars cranking out over 4,500 lumens each.
• Protection: The waterline down is fully blasted and protected with 10 mils (0.25 mm) of epoxy primer and 5 mils (0.13 mm)of premium black anti-fouling paint, complemented by five 5-lb (2.27 kg) zinc anodes.
